Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using MyResumeAI (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service. These terms form a binding contract between you and MyResumeAI Ltd, registered in England and Wales.
Account responsibility
You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately at security@myresumeai.io if you suspect unauthorised access. One account per person; sharing credentials is not allowed on individual plans.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use MyResumeAI to misrepresent qualifications, impersonate another person, scrape content, attempt to break security, or send unsolicited messages through any tools we provide. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules and, in serious cases, terminate them without refund.
Subscription and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through Stripe. Your subscription auto-renews until you cancel inside the dashboard. Pricing is shown in GBP unless otherwise stated and may change with at least 30 days’ written notice for existing subscribers.
Refund policy (7-day money-back)
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all new paid subscriptions. If you’re not happy within seven days of your first payment, email contact@myresumeai.io and we’ll refund the full amount — no forms, no fuss. Refunds beyond seven days are at our discretion.
Intellectual property
You own your content. Your resumes, cover letters, and any text you upload remain your property. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely so we can operate the Service for you. The MyResumeAI platform, brand, software, and templates remain our property and are protected by UK and international copyright law.
AI-generated content disclaimer
MyResumeAI uses large language models (currently Anthropic’s Claude) to assist with writing. AI output may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or unsuitable phrasing. You must review any AI-generated content before using it — especially before submitting a job application or signing a contract. We accept no liability for outcomes that result from unreviewed AI output.
Termination
You may cancel at any time from the dashboard; your account remains active until the end of the paid period. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, fail payment, or appear to be fraudulent. On termination, your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months immediately preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced by email and through an in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
